Nonprofits can get free design work done by college students during Pennsylvania College of Art and Design’s 10th annual Designathon.

During the 24-hour event, PCA&D students will create brochures, logos, t-shirts, posters and websites — for free — for area nonprofits.

The design event, held by the college’s American Institute of Graphic Arts Student Chapter (AIGA), will begin at 6 p.m. Feb. 23, 2018 and end 24 hours later.

PCA&D is now accepting applications for the 2018 event from Lancaster County nonprofits with design needs.

Applications can be submitted online and are due Jan. 12, 2018.

The Designathon gives students real-world experience working for clients under tight deadlines. It also gives them the chance to give back to the community, according to PCA&D.
