TOPSHOP’S Gucci-inspired T-shirt is back in stock – and it’s now in a different colour.
Social media went wild for the “Merci Mon Cheri” tee back in May, and it soon sold out.
Now Topshop has relaunched the £16 graphic top – and it’s selling in black instead of white.
The slogan T-shirt has two intertwined hearts on red stripes, and fashion fans were quick to notice the designer influence.
It bears a striking likeness to Gucci’s £370 statement tee, which has the brand logo over the top of red and green stripes with “Gucci” printed in a similar font.
And the black version, available here, is already trending on Topshop’s website – meaning it’s well on its way to selling out.
While Topshop is also selling a white AMOUR slogan shirt, available here, which is also uncannily similar.
The website description reads: “Opt for a motif tee when you’re feeling like a laid back look. This one has ‘Amour’ printed across the front.
“Pair with a cute mini skirt for easy breezy styling. 100% Cotton. Machine wash.”
In you’re a fan of Gucci, you’ll be pleased to know this isn’t the only lookalike item currently on the high street.
These £12.50 loafers from Asda could pass for a Gucci pair that cost a whopping £450.
While New Look’s £29.99 black bumble bee boots are £775 cheaper than the designer version.
And Boohoo is selling these £20 snake-adorned trainers… and they’re £430 less than the Gucci version.
