She is has been staying active since having her daughter.

And Natalie Portman stepped out for some fresh air in Los Angeles on Tuesday, while cradling her seven-month-old Amalia.

Armed with her baby carrier, the actress, 36, appeared perfectly at ease and fresh-faced while accompanied by her mother Shelley.

Natalie stepped out sporting a casual ensemble with a pink graphic T-shirt and boot-cut jeans.

The down-to-earth babe wore black high-top converse to finish off her look.

Natalie kept her glossy brown locks tied in a loose bun, while hiding her face behind aviator sunglasses.

The mother-of-two carried a blue tote bag, as she was seen assembling baby Amalia’s stroller.

The Oscar-winning actress married her French choreographer husband Benjamin Millepied in 2012.

They’d welcomed their firstborn, a son called Aleph, in 2011, and in 2014 they moved to France when Benjamin was made dance director at the Paris Opera Ballet.

The family moved back to Los Angeles last year, and Amalia was born this March.  

The No Strings Attached star has insisted becoming a parent has hugely helped her when it comes to battling stress at work.

Speaking last year, Natalie claimed: ‘It’s made me much calmer under stress because there’s that weird parent thing you develop, that when things get really bad, your voice gets calm and your blood pressure slows – you can make everything okay again.’ 

After her brief maternity leave, the actress is set to promote her upcoming movie Annihilation, which released its first trailer earlier this week.
