A man using a fake firearm robbed a food deliveryman Sunday night in Easton‘s West Ward, city police said.

The 29-year-old delivery man was “in the area of” the 1100 block of Spring Garden Street when a light-skinned “black or Hispanic man,” possibly in his 20s, approached just after 9:45 p.m., police said.

The robber was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and headed east on Spring Garden, police said. It wasn’t immediately clear how police knew the gun was fake.
