This origin story doesn’t have mutants or radioactive spiders, but aims to be just as super as any celebrated comic book hero.


At this year’s New York Comic Con, the Daily News caught up with Uraeus, a graphic novelist and creator of Black Heroes Matter. Its a movement he started to help empower fans and creators of color to promote and honor black characters in comics books, movies and television.
